Urmila Matondkar, Film actress, On love, work and being a sex symbol You are still considered a sex symbol inspite of not doing too many 'bootilicious' roles. I guess that's because my sex appeal lies in my confidence and attitude much more than my clothes. Of course, it's a great compliment, but that cannot be the start and end of it. In fact, I'm glad I have already proven myself as being more than just a 'sex symbol'.

So do we see you in serious roles alone? No way, in fact I am waiting to do some real light and frothy stuff. I'm dying to do a kick-ass dance number. Of course, I have taken up projects that have been exhausting, both mentally and physically. But the fact is that life turns me on and I derive my energies from work, so it never drains me. How have you coped with an industry manifest with insecurities? The fear stemming from the insecurities in this industry can drive a person insane. However, there is no space in my life for such frivolous issues. I am too much at peace with myself. The key lies in disassociating yourself from the situation and enjoying everything like a spectator. So when is love happening? Oh, I would love to be in love. It's an amazing feeling and being a die-hard romantic, I'm just waiting for it to happen. But at the same time I wouldn't want someone to be in my life just for the heck of it. Rather than being dependant on each other, I would want to be each other's strength.
